Fill the mesh bag with the laundry you want to wash.

Place the bagged laundry on a bathroom scale. Weigh each load individually, if you've separated the laundry based on color or fabric delicacy.

Compare the weight of the bagged laundry and that of your washer's capacity. Remove articles from the load if the laundry weighs too much; otherwise, throw in another item or two to bring the weight closer to the capacity limit.

Empty the mesh bag into the washing machine. Fill the drum evenly so the load stays balanced. Add the proper amount of detergent, set the water temperature and begin the wash cycle.
